Pink oyster is a fast, tropical Pleurotus valued for vivid colour and rapid warm-weather cropping. It suits summer rooms that are too warm for cool-fruiting oysters. Its short shelf life and high fresh-air demand matter as much as temperature.

    Confirm the room can remain safely warm without heating the substrate excessively.

  • Pale or stretched clusters usually need more fresh air or better light.
  • Cool conditions slow or stop this tropical species.
  • Over-misting can bruise fruits and leave standing water that encourages bacteria.
